Richard Edie

Rich Edie, along with his wife Robbie, owns two (2) Wild Birds Unlimited stores in the Houston area. They love to bring Joy into their Customers’ Lives by sharing their passion for birds and knowledge about the hobby of backyard bird feeding.  Growing up in the Missouri Ozarks, Rich developed a love for nature and the outdoors at an early age. Today, he still loves spending time outdoors, bird watching, gardening, and educating others on the joys of backyard bird feeding and how to use native plants and organic practices to create a healthy wildlife habitat.

PRESENTATION - Create a Healthy Backyard Bird Habitat

Since 1970, we've lost nearly 3 billion birds, mainly due to habitat loss. We will discuss how to attract birds and other pollinators to your garden. From planting native plants to providing safe stopover areas for birds to eat, drink and nest, we will help you create a healthy backyard bird habitat. We will also share how you can certify your yard through the National Wildlife Federation and help Save the Songbirds.
