Skip received his Master’s degree in Horticulture from Texas A&M and has served as an AgriLife Extension horticulturist in Montgomery, Travis, Harris and Brazos counties.  He is a contributing editor to the Texas Gardener magazine and hosts the GardenLine radio show on KTRH 740.  He received the County Agent Award from the Texas Nursery & Landscape Association in 2023 and was selected as a Regents Service Fellow by the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents.
