Folks, there is a new era emerging and it’s emerging strong. Sustainable philosophy, Organics, LEED building standards are all becoming dominant in the marketplace. In order for all of us to be prepared, to prosper and to help humanity have healthy, happier growth; OHBA, Texas AgriLife Extension, SeaGrant, USGBC-Houston & the Houston chapter of ASLA have all joined forces to provide this monumental workshop.

This workshop, with national regarded experts will explain the Sustainable Site Initiative (SSI) and the Sustainable Philosophy that is strongly influencing the thinking of major decision makers everywhere. You will also learn how this ties into LEED.

The Sustainable Site Initiative (SSI) is emerging as the standard on sustainable development and green management practices for landscapes of all types, including public, commercial and residential. The SSI will likely become part of the US Green Building Council’s LEED rating system. Learn about SSI, the huge opportunities it will provide and how your business or organization can position itself as an early adopter reaping the greatest benefits while bringing more value to your services.
